My story began on June 21st, 2009. It was Father’s Day and my kids wanted to celebrate by grilling steaks for me. So I enjoyed a juicy rib-eye steak prepared medium well, a loaded baked potato, and a salad. Later on in the evening as I reclined in my living room, I started to feel bad. My wife insisted on calling the paramedics and soon I was on my way to the Brandon Regional Hospital. I was quickly assessed by the medical professionals at the emergency room and it was determined that I likely had experienced a heart attack.
It turned out they were able to correct the problem with stents. It was at this point that I became acquainted with Dr. Saba. He had a warm and friendly manner about him that made me comfortable. The corrective procedure went forward on June 23rd and it went well. Since that time I have trusted Dr. Saba with my heart health. He has been an important part of my road to recovery.
I had an awesome experience today at the Heart and Vein Center. Dr. Saba was great and so was his secretary. His nurse did an awesome job taking care of me. She also made me laugh.
